Harmattan Hues Publishing was founded on a single conviction: that African storytelling — in all its richness, plurality, and radical humanity — deserves a home built with the same care as the stories themselves. We are an independent publisher operating from Lagos and London, dedicated to debut and established authors whose work sits at the intersection of tradition and transformation.
We do not chase trends. We look for language that slows you down, for characters you will carry long after you close the cover, for narratives that refuse the easy resolution. If your work demands patience from a reader and repays it generously, we want to hear from you.
